Awesome! A must read!
Kelsey captures the heart.
I was nervous when it wasn’t my loved characters from book one, but I should have trusted the authoress more. I quickly grew to care for this delightful new cast in this neighboring setting. Trust Kelsey. Read book two.
I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review. At first I was sad that this book had new characters and a new storyline. But I quickly fell in love with the new characters and story!!! It does mention a few of the characters from the first book and is set in one of the same cities in the world of the first book.
This book gripped me and kept me wanting to read! Even though I got an ARC, I bought the book too. That is how much I love it!
Loved so much about this book. Unconventional heroes. Unexpected romance. Enduring friendship. I could pick a favorite character. It's a fast, sweet fantasy story that I'm excited to have in my collection.

While A Stolen Kiss focused on fractured fairy tales of swan princesses and destined sorcerers, I felt that A Stolen Crown was a great next step forward into the author's fantasy world with political intrigues, tests of friendship and social commentary. I love how it's dark in necessary places but light hearted enough to make you laugh and gasp as you follow along the story. I love this light YA fantasy series that promotes strong characters from both sexes.
Keep on moving if you're avoiding spoilers.
My favorite character is everyone's I think, Rory-but I also liked Cecily and Gene. Fangralee Forest is my favorite backdrop, both for character development and for the deets like the baby spider.
This story goes much deeper than the first in the series, so I liked it better. At first I had trouble keeping track of the characters, but in the end they all had their reasons for being, in interesting and well thought out ways. A very enjoyable read.
